Great Lakes Wedding Gown Specialists is owned and operated by Tami Parks.  Tami has been in the drycleaning business for most of her life.  Her parents own Lemon Fresh Cleaners in Holland, Michigan; Tami grew up learning about fabrics, textiles, and fashion.  Tami also has a great interest in historical and vintage clothing; so Great Lakes Wedding Gown Specialists is a great merger of her interests and abilities.

 

             Great Lakes Wedding Gown Specialists is a member of the Association of Wedding Gown Specialists, a non-profit trade organization.  Members of this association guarantee each other’s work for a lifetime.  For example, if you move to California from Michigan and your daughter wants to wear your gown 20 years from now, a Wedding Gown Specialist in California will open your gown and press it at no charge! 

 

At Great Lakes, we believe that your special occasion and family gowns are preserved so they can be enjoyed by future generations.  We do not vacuum-seal any boxes, but encourage you to occasionally inspect and enjoy your gown, using the cotton gloves that will be included in the box with your gown.
